Fireside at Great Wolf Lodge: A Yummy New Dining Option!

On our latest adventure to Great Wolf Lodge Poconos, we were super excited not just for the new slides at the water park, but for something brand new on the food front too — Fireside, their new outdoor-themed restaurant!

Last time we came, the only dinner option was the buffet (which was okay), but this time there was something new — and we’re all glad they added it!

Welcome to Fireside – A Cozy, Outdoor-Themed Restaurant

Fireside feels like you’re eating in a fancy campsite lodge. It’s decorated with cozy lights, wooden tables, and nature-themed stuff. Even the menu looked like it belonged on a mountain adventure!

The kid’s menu had all the usual favorites. Charlie got a juicy cheeseburger, and I (Carter) picked the chicken tenders. They were crispy, hot, and came with a side of fries that I totally crushed.

Mom and Dad started with this GIANT plate of loaded chicken nachos. It had melted cheese, salsa, guac, sour cream, and more. I snuck a few chips and they were awesome.

If you’re visiting Great Wolf and want something besides the buffet, this is a must-try!

Why Mom and Dad Were Extra Happy

They remembered last time when we had the dinner buffet both nights. It was okay, but they wanted more choices. So this time, they were super happy there was a sit-down restaurant where they could order off a menu.

Plus, we didn’t have to wait long, and the service was super friendly. And Mom said the wrap-around lights and cabin vibes made it feel like a real vacation dinner.

Final Thoughts: More Than Just Slides!

When you go to Great Wolf Lodge, it’s easy to focus only on the water park (because it’s amazing), but don’t forget to explore the fun restaurants like Fireside too!

Fireside made our night even better after a full day of swimming, sliding, and MagiQuest-ing. Whether you’re into burgers, nachos, or classic kid meals, it’s a delicious new choice that your whole family will enjoy.
