8 Nights, a Lazy River & a Flood?! Our Stay at Signia by Hilton – Bonnet Creek πŸ¨β˜€οΈπŸŽ’

By: Two Theme Park Adventurers and Their Floating Inner Tube Army

When Mom and Dad said we were staying in one hotel room for 8 nights, we weren’t sure what to expect. Would we all fit? Would it get boring? But they promised we’d be so busy at the parks that we’d barely notice β€” and they were right!

We stayed at the Signia by Hilton – Orlando Bonnet Creek, and it ended up being the perfect home base for our Florida adventure.

Room Reality: Just Enough for Sleep πŸ›οΈ

Even though we were in one room for over a week, it actually worked out great. We were up early (hello, 7 AM rope drops at the parks!) and back super late. We pretty much only used the room for sleeping and recharging β€” and maybe a quick snack raid.

So if you’re planning long days at Disney or Universal, this hotel totally works, even with a full family!

Pool Day = Lazy River + Movie Night Magic πŸŽ¬πŸ’¦

We took one day off from the parks and spent it at the hotel pool β€” and it did NOT disappoint. The lazy river was the best part, with tons of inner tubes to ride, stack, and float forever. We made up games, raced each other, and took turns seeing how many tubes we could balance on.

That night, we floated in the pool while they showed a movie on a giant screen. Floating while watching a movie? That’s definitely going on our β€œcoolest things ever” list.

Adventure Alert: The Lobby Flood! 🚨

One day during our stay, a pipe burst and flooded the hotel lobby. But instead of freaking out, Mom and Dad turned it into a mini-adventure. We got to take the service elevator up to our room β€” and we rode with someone’s dinner! It felt like a behind-the-scenes tour (plus it smelled awesome).

Park Access = Uber Easy πŸš—πŸŽ’

Getting to and from the parks was super simple with Uber rides from the hotel. No long waits, no complicated shuttles. Mom and Dad said it made everything less stressful, especially after a full day of roller coasters and fireworks.

Final Thoughts: Float, Ride, Repeat

Signia by Hilton – Bonnet Creek was an awesome place to stay for a week of non-stop fun. The room was cozy, the pool was amazing, and getting to the parks was a breeze. Plus, we’ll never forget that surprise service elevator ride!
