Mac ‘n Cheese, Donuts & Pumpkins at Golden Harvest Farms!

If you’re looking for the perfect fall day trip, look no further than Golden Harvest Farms in Valatie, NY. We went for the pumpkins… but stayed for the mac ‘n cheese. Seriously, it might be the best we’ve ever had — and we’ve had A LOT!

The Mac ‘n Cheese Dreams Are Made Of 🧀

When we sat down to eat, we didn’t expect to find one of the creamiest, cheesiest, most delicious mac and cheese dishes EVER. It had the perfect gooey center with a crispy, golden top layer that made every bite amazing.

While we were diving into our cheesy heaven, Mom and Dad were busy with some barbecue from the farm’s café (they said the pulled pork and brisket were awesome too!).

If you’re planning a family food trip upstate, make sure this mac ‘n cheese is on your list. It’s worth the drive on its own!

Fresh Donuts & Pumpkin Picking 🎃🍩

After lunch, we followed the sweet smell of cinnamon sugar to the donut stand — and YES, the freshly made apple cider donuts are everything. Warm, soft, sugary… we may have eaten them faster than we should’ve. 😅

Then it was time for pumpkin picking! There were tons of pumpkins in all sizes — some round, some weirdly shaped (Charlie picked one with a curl on top he named “Twister”).

Golden Harvest Farms is the kind of place where you can eat, play, and explore — all in one spot.

Final Thoughts: Fall Fun and Full Bellies

Golden Harvest Farms is now one of our favorite places for a fall family adventure. Whether you come for the pumpkins, the donuts, or the best mac ‘n cheese upstate, you won’t leave disappointed — or hungry!

Warning: You may dream about that cheese crust for days. We still are.
