Fajitas, Fries & Fresh Guac at Mole (Next Time, Nacho Comes Too!) 🌮🐶
By: Two Hungry Kids and One Future Four-Pawed Diner
Some meals just hit the spot — and our dinner at Mole in the West Village totally did! With fajitas sizzling, quesadillas perfectly cheesy, and fries hot and crispy, everyone at the table was happy. We’re pretty sure even Nacho would’ve approved (especially with all the other pups chilling on the patio).
This place had great food, an awesome vibe, and a dog-friendly outdoor seating area that made us already plan a return visit — but next time, we’re bringing the whole family… paws included!
What We Ordered (And Why We’d Order It Again)
- Carter: Cheese quesadilla — melty, cheesy, and just the right size for a hungry kid who also wants chips.
- Charlie: Grilled chicken with fries — crispy, golden fries and juicy chicken. Zero leftovers.
- Mom + Dad: Shared sizzling fajitas that came with warm tortillas, grilled veggies, and all the toppings. They said it reminded them of vacations in Mexico!
We all devoured the fresh guacamole (the kind that tastes like it was made two minutes ago) and couldn’t stop munching on the homemade tortilla chips. Crunchy, salty, perfect.
Outdoor Vibes + Pup-Approved Patio 🐕🪴
The Jane Street location has a great outdoor dining area, with string lights and plenty of room between tables. It felt relaxed and fun — the kind of place where you can take your time and enjoy the food (and maybe a few extra chips).
We noticed a couple of diners brought their dogs, and they were just hanging out under the table like regular guests. We immediately looked at Mom and Dad and said, “Next time, we’re bringing Nacho.” They didn’t say no!
Final Thoughts: Great Food, Fresh Air, and Next Time — Nacho
This was one of those meals where everyone left full and happy (and maybe a little sleepy from all the chips). Between the kid-friendly menu, fresh flavors, and pet-welcoming patio, we’re definitely putting this spot on our family dinner favorites list.
See you again soon, Jane Street — and next time, we’re bringing our furry brother!
