Pasta, Bread, and Bonus Shakes: The Perfect Night at La Pecora Bianca! 🍝🍞🍦

By: Two Pasta Pros and Strategic Dessert Negotiators

When it comes to family meals in NYC, La Pecora Bianca is hands down one of our absolute favorite restaurants. It has amazing pasta, super friendly staff, and the location is awesome β€” right across from The High Line. After dinner, we walked it off while watching the sunset. Epic night = achieved.

Pasta Perfection + Bread for Days

Let’s start with the important part β€” the food! Mom and Dad kicked things off with meatballs and whipped ricotta, which came with a giant pile of bread. (We β€œhelped” eat most of it.)

  • Carter: Buttered pasta β€” simple, perfect, and not a single noodle left behind.
  • Charlie: Pasta with red sauce β€” tangy, saucy, and totally clean-plated.

We were both official members of the Clean Plate Club by the end, which should totally come with a badge or something!

Bonus Points for Location (and Shake Shack!) πŸŒ‡πŸ¦

La Pecora Bianca’s location is amazing β€” it’s right across from The High Line, so after dinner we strolled up and watched the sun go down over the city. Pretty cool way to end the day.

But wait β€” the night wasn’t over! Shake Shack is also across the street, and we somehow convinced Mom and Dad to skip dessert at the restaurant and head there for shakes instead. Win!

Final Thoughts: This Place Has It All

From the cozy vibe to the delicious pasta and perfect people-watching location, La Pecora Bianca checks all the boxes for a fun family dinner in the city. And the fact that it ends with milkshakes? Let’s just say we’ll definitely be back.

Next time: more pasta, more bread, and maybe fries *and* shakes.
