Two Days, 14 Hours, and All the Coasters at Cedar Point! 🎢🍔🕹️
By: Two Theme Park Pros Who Conquered Cedar Point (and Ate Every 90 Minutes)
If you’re looking for the ultimate roller coaster adventure, then Cedar Point is where you need to be! We spent two full days at the park and packed in as much fun (and food) as humanly possible — and we’ve got tips, ride picks, and snack hacks to prove it.
Early Access: Front-of-the-Park Strategy 🚪🎢
Since we stayed at Hotel Breakers, we got early access to the park. But here’s the secret: only the rides at the front of the park open at 9 AM. Everything in the back opens at 10 AM with general admission, so we used our early time to hit up rides like GateKeeper and Cadillac Cars before the crowds showed up.
14 Hours + All-Day Dining = Fuel for Coaster Kings & Queens 🍔🥤
On day one, we spent a whopping 14 hours in the park — which meant we got our money’s worth from the All-Day Dining Plan. You can eat every 90 minutes and grab drinks every 15, which was a lifesaver in the heat. We hit multiple food stands all over the park and never had to wait long for snacks.
From pizza to burgers to chicken tenders (Charlie’s fave), it kept us going between rides — and gave us a reason to stop for a break when our feet needed it!
Our Ride MVPs: Family Favorites by Rider 🎢
- Charlie: Woodstock Express — perfect for little thrill-seekers!
- Carter: Maverick — fast, twisty, and AWESOME.
- Mom: GateKeeper — smooth and soaring over the entrance!
- Dad: Steel Vengeance — for the real coaster daredevils.
Other favorites included Gemini (we loved the racing part), Cadillac Cars (a chill drive), and the brand-new Wild Mouse coaster which spins while you ride!
Pro Tips: Parent Swap, Arcade Cool-Down, and Surprises 🎟️🕹️
We didn’t get the Fast Lane passes, but Mom and Dad used Parent Swap to ride the big coasters faster while we hung back or took on smaller rides nearby. Super helpful!
When it got too hot, we ducked into the Cedar Point arcade. The prizes might be old-school, but the games are still super fun — especially the Pac-Man air hockey table. It starts as regular air hockey… until a wave of mini pucks fly out. Total chaos, total fun.
Final Thoughts: Two Days of Epic Coasters & Family Wins
Cedar Point lived up to the hype. Whether you’re a hardcore coaster fan like Dad or a mini-rider like Charlie, there’s something for everyone. The food plan kept us fueled, the rides were nonstop, and we even squeezed in some arcade action to beat the heat.
Bring comfy shoes, download the app, and get ready to ride!
