Strawberry Jam That Steals the Show at Cottage Garden Café! 🍓🍽️

We’ve had a LOT of breakfasts on our adventures, but the one at Cottage Garden Café just might be our favorite — and it’s all thanks to their homemade strawberry “freeze jam” that comes with every plate. It’s sweet, fresh, and made our toast taste like dessert!
If you’re in Michigan and love cozy cafés, this one’s a must-stop for the whole family.
Breakfast Favorites: Pancakes, Bacon & Clean Plates
- Charlie ordered the chocolate chip pancakes — and they were loaded with melty chips in every bite. (He didn’t leave a crumb.)
- Carter went with eggs and bacon — classic, crispy, and delicious. Nothing fancy, just really good food.
We both officially joined the Clean Plate Club that morning… and we may or may not have licked the jam container clean. (Hey, it was that good!)

Even Mom and Dad were blown away. Mom said, “I could eat this on everything,” and Dad asked if we could bring a jar home. (They sell it by the container if you’re wondering!)
