Canvases, Trains & Bob Ross Vibes at The Painted Frog Art Studio! 🎨🐸
By: Two Mini Picassos (Plus Mom’s Happy Trees and Dad’s Go Blue Energy)
If you love getting a little messy while making something awesome, then you NEED to visit The Painted Frog Art Studio in Michigan. It’s a paint-your-own project place where the whole family can get creative — and yes, even Mom and Dad joined in (and got seriously into it)!
Pick Your Project: The Possibilities Are Endless 🎨🧰
The back of the shop has an entire activity room filled with wooden shapes, canvases, boxes, trains, and even umbrellas ready to be transformed into masterpieces. You walk in, choose your project, grab your paint, and go!
It’s totally kid-friendly and great for grown-ups too — whether you’re a first-time painter or someone who just likes to mix colors until they look cool.
Painting Party: GO BLUE Meets Happy Little Trees 🌲💙
- Dad: Locked in on painting the Michigan “M” — with full Wolverine pride. GO BLUE!
- Mom: Channeling her inner Bob Ross with trees, clouds, and calm vibes.
- Us: Tried everything! Canvases, color blending, and asking about every single paint brush on the shelf.
The owner of the studio was super nice and answered all our questions — even the random ones — so Mom and Dad could focus on their works of art. (Spoiler: they both turned out awesome.)
Final Thoughts: The Painted Frog = Art Fun for Everyone
The Painted Frog Art Studio is a great spot for a rainy day, chill afternoon, or just a fun family outing. You don’t need to be a professional artist to enjoy it — just bring your creativity and your favorite colors!
Pro tip: Don’t wear your best shirt. Paint splatters happen — and that’s part of the fun.
