Thrills, Pasta & Olaf Bubbles: Our First Disney Day at EPCOT! 🌍🚀🎢

Our Disney adventure kicked off at EPCOT, and the second we saw the giant golf ball (aka Spaceship Earth), we were READY. This park is a perfect mix of cool rides, awesome learning, and delicious food — and we made the most of every minute!

Spaceship Earth: Ride Through Time (and Then Backwards!) 🕰️📡

We started the day with Spaceship Earth, and while it’s not fast, it’s really interesting. The ride shows how humans have communicated through history — from cave paintings to computers. At the end, you even get to ride backward through the stars and design your own future on the screen in front of you. Super cool start!

Speed + Stars: Test Track & Guardians of the Galaxy 🚗🌌

🚙 Test Track

This one was AWESOME. You get to design your own car, then race it around the track at super high speeds. The wind, the curves, the photo — 10/10, would ride again.

🎸 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

Since Charlie didn’t want to ride, Mom and Dad did a parent swap. Mom and Carter went first, then Carter got lucky and rode again with Dad. Mom said it’s one of the best rides she’s ever been on — and it’s easy to see why. The music, the movement, and the surprise twists made it an out-of-this-world experience!

Soarin’ Around the World = Flying Fun (But Pick Row 1!) 🌎✈️

We loved Soarin’ Around the World so much, we rode it twice! It’s like flying over mountains, oceans, and landmarks with wind and scents to make it feel super real. The first time we got Row 1 — best view ever. The second time was Row 3, but we could see people’s feet above us. So yeah… try to ask for Row 1!

World Showcase = Culture, Pasta & Fireworks 🇲🇽🇳🇴🇨🇳🇩🇪🇮🇹

After the rides, we made our way through the World Showcase. We started in Mexico, where Mom and Dad grabbed a drink and Mom got a personalized ring carved with her name. Then we walked through Norway, China, and Germany before stopping for dinner in Italy (because, hello, pasta lovers!).

We ate dinner and watched the EPCOT nighttime fireworks show from our table — it was cool, but we all agreed the Magic Kingdom fireworks are better (more on that soon!).

Final Stop: Olaf Bubbles & Park Hopping Plans ❄️🫧

On the way out, we grabbed an Olaf bubble wand — it lights up AND shoots bubbles, so obviously a top souvenir pick. We were tired but happy and took an Uber back to the hotel, excited that with our park hopper passes we could return later in the week for even more EPCOT fun.

Next time: more countries, more pasta, and another round on Guardians!
