What’s better than a day on the dunes at Silver Lake Sand Dunes? Following it up with go-karts, games, and wings for Charlie’s 6th birthday — that’s what! We headed straight from the sand to Craig’s Cruisers, and let’s just say… it was the ultimate party spot.

Craig’s Cruisers: All the Fun in One Place 🎯🎢

This place has everything — go-karts, a zip line, mini golf, bumper boats, a drop tower, and an arcade big enough to get lost in (which we almost did). Charlie picked it for his birthday and totally nailed it.

• Mom + Charlie: Crushed the double go-kart race. Birthday boy FTW!
• Carter + Dad: Destroyed the arcade — let’s just say the prize counter was very good to us.

We played, raced, zipped, and splashed until we couldn’t laugh anymore… and then we got hungry.

Wings & Tunes at Silver Lake Chicken Shack 🍗🎶

After all that action, we rolled into Silver Lake Chicken Shack for some much-needed food. The wings? SO GOOD. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor.

Plus, they had live music playing while we ate — which made it feel like the party never ended. Charlie said it was his best birthday yet. And honestly? We all agree.

Final Thoughts: Best. Birthday. Ever.

Between the dunes, Craig’s Cruisers, and the Chicken Shack, Charlie’s birthday was a total hit. If you’re planning a family celebration in Silver Lake, this combo is unbeatable — action-packed, super fun, and delicious too.
