When you find an ice cream spot so good you go back three times in one week — you know it’s the real deal. That’s exactly what happened when we discovered The Whippy Dip near Silver Lake, Michigan. And YES, we “Do the Dip” — proudly!

With so many flavors and mix-ins to choose from, it was impossible to try just one. Everyone in our family picked a favorite… and then came back for more!

Flurry Wars: Snickers vs. Oreo 🍫🍪

• Dad + Carter: Chocolate Snickers flurry for the win! Creamy ice cream + crunchy Snickers = match made in dessert heaven.
• Charlie: Vanilla Oreo flurry — because cookies + ice cream is always a good idea.
• Mom: She kept it classic with chocolate chip cookie dough, and she wasn’t sharing 😆.

We seriously couldn’t decide on a favorite, so we had to come back again (and again). And yes, they have tons of other flavors — from fruity swirls to peanut butter cups to classic vanilla cones with rainbow sprinkles.

Merch, Memories, and Must-Haves 🧢🍦

Charlie loved The Whippy Dip SO much that he bought a sweatshirt so he could rep his new favorite ice cream spot back home in New York. It’s super soft and has the cutest logo. Now he wears it on ice cream runs at home, too!

There’s just something extra fun about having a treat that reminds you of summer vacation — and The Whippy Dip totally nailed it.

Final Thoughts: Dip In, Cool Down, Repeat!

The Whippy Dip is hands down one of the best ice cream stops in Michigan for families. Whether you’re staying near Silver Lake or visiting the Sand Dunes, this place is a must after a day in the sun.
